It's time to start working, and since there's been a lot of interest and requests over the years for something angled away from the castles and medieval themes. Starting from now the production of a futuristic themed series is under way, the details? Well at this point I can't disclose anything more than this one little image.
Pixel Holder
Following the goings on of sprite development for the RPG Maker series, from character sets to animated battlers you'll find what's being worked on before it's released.

Give me a face!
After a few tweaks here and there, searching and researching, tasting and trying, I've settled on a design for those ever pesky faces.
After looking at many areas including how easy it'll be to edit and replicate I've gone for something that's not to far off from the RTP (Run Time Package) that comes with RPG Maker, though it's different enough so they won't be confused.
Once again it's work in progress and a sneak peak at what's to expect sometime soon...
A soft touch that can contain things from the smallest of details right up to plain clothed villagers.
Bit of testing has been done in regards to close colours so the hair and skin tones don't just blend together.
Also with that, make up is obvious which wouldn't be mistaken for shade or scars, sounds simple but it was difficult to get the edges right.
Don't forget to keep checking back, if you've got any questions then feel free to send me a personal message over at RPGRevolution.

Battler Template 'bits'
After realising that the head from my character set template works in proportion to the battler I decided to make a pick and choose style reference image.
This will be for those who'd like to make their own or just piece together and create their own poses. It's not going to be released any time soon though as I'm going to be constantly adding to this. At least it gives some kind of idea as to what to expect in the future.
> Normal.
> Angry.
> Shouting.
> Woozy.
> Casting, Dead, etc.
There's obviously a long way to go with this but at this point it's here for reference.

Template V2 Revamp
Many people who know me also know that I've got a collection of character set templates known as the 'Holder Template', these have been released for almost a year now and they're hitting nearly 2'000 views which I'm really pleased about.
Since the time draws near to the start of the Resource City I'm working on more variations of these including such things as stances, height variations, teens, elders.
If that's not enough I'm also updating the entire set to version 2 carrying over the improvements to the older collection.
The first of many sneak peaks:
A teen female build.
Additional shade added.
Removed set shadow from base.
Altered starting base making it rest nicer on tiles
Oh and the sexy walk!
